Just like the characters he described in his novels, Joseph Conrad had an extraordinary bond with the sea. With this feeling, he spent his early youth on French merchant ships, and later found himself working in the British merchant fleet... And the following years of his youth were spent in those blue seas. During this long period, he observed various states of people and nature, and perhaps for this reason, his thoughts had an impact beyond the ages.
