Benefits of Darkness

The Benefits of Darkness is a strange book. A surreal anti-novel, a meta-fiction that progresses with accidents, misfortunes, misunderstandings, meaningless repetitions, digressions, annoying dialogues, grotesque humor and coincidental encounters.

The novel, accompanied by 79 collages of poet, novelist and artist Ror Wolf, one of Germany's most creative names, a distant relative of Magritte, Kafka, Laurence Sterne, Robert Walser and Bela Tarr, is a story about daily life. It creates a fantastic imaginary universe by bringing together extraordinarily boring details and makes the reader aware of the writing and reading experience.

The best thing, I wrote, is to lie on the bed and swing, away, towards the greatest adventures, without getting up, without moving even once. This means that invading foreign territories is very simple and can be done without rushing, which is nice.
