Bloody Wedding - Hasan Ali Yücel Classics
Federico Garcia Lorca (1898-1936): He was one of Spain's writers who made a significant contribution to world culture at the beginning of the 20th century, with his power of blending folk culture elements with modern content in his poems and plays. However, this contribution was left unfinished when he was arrested and shot by Francoist forces during the Spanish Civil War.
Blood Wedding (1933), one of his most important works that made him accepted as a playwright, is being translated into Turkish for the first time from its original language, 73 years after it was written.
Roza Hakmen (1956); One of the most important translators of Turkish into French, English and Spanish. Don Quixote, In Search of Lost Time, For Whom the Bell Tolls and Conversation with the Vampire are just a few of his translations.
