Who was Nezihe Muhiddin? In what social and intellectual environment did he grow up? What did he think about women? What did he do? Why and how was she separated from the women's movement when she was in her thirties and could have done so much more? How was it forgotten? Reading the story of this riddle, which sheds light on Turkey's recent past, based on old Turkish documents of the period, written by a female historian who took part in the New Women's Movement from the first days, contributed to its formation, and closely followed the feminism debates, will teach a lot, especially to young women.
