Benny Andersen was born on November 7, 1929. After completing his secondary education, he started working in an advertising agency. He taught himself to play the piano and played and sang in clubs... He composed compositions... He wrote scripts... He acted in films... He was married twice, was the father of five children, and died on August 16, 2018.
He was both Denmark's most innovative and most popular poet. On the one hand, he coined new words, and on the other hand, he gave what he was going to say directly without embellishment. He was loved by both critics and readers with his sarcasm and honesty coming from the people...
