Demir Özlü is one of the living masters of our literature, with his narratives as well as his stories and novels. He is one of the first to come to mind among the storytellers of the 50's Generation. In addition to his stories, he is a writer who has a say in today's literature with his novels and essays that convey a wide range of literary ideas. Last year, he added a new one to his autobiographical narratives: He wrote Here's Your Life, which consists of indelible images, testimonies and memories from his days in Istanbul, Izmir, Paris and Stockholm. In this book, on the one hand, there is the residue of political problems in a society of violence and oppression, and on the other hand, there are traces of a lonely life leading to nothingness, which is essentially "just nostalgia". All of them are embroidered with colorful threads of sensations on a concrete urban texture.
