Montesquieu (1689-1755): He is one of the important thinkers of the Enlightenment period. He made great contributions to political theory, especially his work titled The Spirit of Laws, and brought an anthropological breath to this field with his climate theory. State definitions, functioning of the state, despotism, social layers, slavery etc. He is the owner of basic propositions that have never lost their validity on subjects such as. Chief among these is the principle of "separation of powers", which also shapes today's constitutions. Persian Letters consists of the letters of two Iranian noblemen who went to France with the desire to explore the world. State, society, culture, demography etc. This satire, which deals with subjects with striking anecdotes, was first published as a novel in 1721 and brought Montesquieu great fame.
