İmkansız Sermaye-21.Yüzyılda Kapitalizm Sosyalizm ve Toplum
Impossible Capital is a work written against the claims of those who create new intellectual dogmas from lost revolutions instead of criticism and self-criticism, such as the "end of history" and the "impossibility of socialism".
A work from us that sees and evaluates the crisis of the capital order not only from the axis of the "World Market" but also from the "Tuesday Market" of Istanbul.
It is a study that focuses on the fact that "even though there has never been another period in which the exhaustion and bankruptcy of capitalism was confessed so loudly by the capitalists themselves, the imagination of a new society that transcends capitalism is so barren and weak."
In this work, which is the product of six years of effort, Alp Altınörs focuses on illuminating the existential crisis of capitalism and clarifying the framework of the socialism alternative with current developments.
Altınörs deals with the existential (organic) crisis of capitalism in the first part of the book, and in the second part, he draws attention to the role that robot technology, which is incompatible with capitalism, can play under social ownership (socialism). The third part consists of a discussion with the "communalism" movement, which gained a certain place in left thought in the period before the great recession, and extends to Venezuela and Chávez. The fourth and final part deals with a topic of discussion that has remained hot since the 1990s, "class, identity and subject", and focuses on categories such as the oppressed, the poor and the excluded.
For those who question the past and the present, and those who seek the future and the always new...
