“Everything was a first this year for me. I felt the presence of two emotions very intensely inside me. On the one hand, the joy of experiencing spring in the mountains for the first time in my life, and on the other hand, the sadness of welcoming spring without the sea for the first time. I was experiencing both emotions at the same intensity. A lush green world stretching out in rows on one side, and a deep blue infinity on the other. My heart was like a place where mountains and seas meet. This must be why, lately, whenever I had free time, I would climb on top of a rock and watch the surroundings. One morning, while I was sitting contemplating the sky that stretched out like an endless sea in front of me, I was startled by Berçem's voice right next to me.

“What's wrong, did your ships sink in the Mediterranean?” He came and sat next to me. Her hair was shining like the sun on her smiling face. I laughed at his failure and said, “No, my ships did not sink. "Look how my cloud ships are floating," I said and pointed to the sky with my hand. The white clouds gathered in groups in the blue looked like ships.

“Yes,” he said, taking a long breath.

We sat side by side in silence for a while, watching the serene blue sky. It was Berçem who broke the silence.

“Do you miss the sea so much?” asked.

“Yes, very much,” I said.

I didn't know if I would ever see the sea again. There was a child inside me whose whole life smelled of the sea, and sometimes he felt an unstoppable desire to throw himself into the sea.
