Farabi (870-950): Turkish-Islamic philosopher, astronomer, musician. He is one of the most important figures of the Golden Age of Islam. Farabi completed his higher education in Baghdad and took lessons from famous scholars of the time. He studied the works of Aristotle and Plato and tried to reconcile the philosophies of these two philosophers with Islam, thus giving the Islamic religion a philosophical quality. He started philosophy with logic and focused on metaphysics; He produced works in branches of philosophy dealing with language, politics, nature and mind; He developed musical instruments and wrote on music and psychology. It enabled the development and preservation of Islamic philosophy and influenced Western medieval thought.
