The Free Republican Party is a political experience that has been examined by different researchers and historians as the focus of opposition against the CHF throughout the history of the republic. In The Government with Documents and the Free Republican Party, Cemil Koçak discusses this experience from the perspective of the government and the opposition, by taking into account how the government sees/perceives itself in the face of this opposition movement and by reading the political field in terms of the relations of these two parties. In this research, Koçak discusses what questions are asked about SCF, what motives researchers act upon, and instead of writing SCF history, he presents a list of "histories" related to SCF and touches upon the weaknesses and opportunities of historiography with documents on this subject. It examines this opposition experience in political history by looking at the reports prepared for CHF organizations from various perspectives, from the establishment of the SCF to the intelligence reports about the founders, from the organizational activities to the events in the municipal elections.
