'Memoirs of Two Brides' is a novel of the transition period of the 1789 French Great Revolution. A revolution is made to realize the plan and program. But no plan or program fits perfectly into life and the plan at its center. It reacts and through reactions creates either changes in the predictions of the revolution, shifts in practice, or changes in people. The transition period is completed when these are assimilated by the revolution and take part in the legalization of the new system. The human drama is very evident in these periods.
