There are some stereotyped words in every language to beautify the expression and to make the defended idea and thought more effective. Proverbs, prayer and wish phrases, curses and curses, riddles and nursery rhymes... Among such formulaic words, the most common ones in the language are idioms. There is no doubt that the idioms that are used unchanged, as they are molded and ingrained in the language, add liveliness and power to the narrative. It is a fact that in this way, thoughts and events are reflected more effectively to the addressee.

Memories and stories about some people, events taken from history, and. They share the first place among the reasons for the emergence of idioms. In this respect, searching for and finding the sources of idioms is a very arduous task. It is possible to come across the origin story of an idiom, sometimes on a random page, sometimes in a footnote, or sometimes on an unexpected manuscript page.

It is certain that knowing the origin stories of our idioms will add color to the face of our language reflected in culture. We hope that this little book will be a starting point for those who will do more extensive research on this subject.
