Every nation has its own unique fairy tale literature. These collections of tales may show some change and color with the interactions of other nations. Indian fairy tale literature is one of the most important elements in this change and coloring.

Many Indian tales derived from Panchatantra, Kathasaritsagara, Vetalapançavimsati and similar tale series have entered European and Turkish fairy tale literature in various ways and in various forms. Today, do not be surprised if you see that an Istanbul fairy tale, or the story of "The Lion and the Rabbit" in Mevlana's Mesnevi, or a well-known tale from La Fontaine, the Grim Brothers, or even a joke from Nasreddin Hodja, is actually of Indian origin.

Today, we use these fairy tales and stories, which have never lost their currency and which tell events and situations that are very difficult to explain in a simple, entertaining and impressive way. For this, the world owes a lot to Indian culture.
