Günümüz Türkçesiyle Amak-ı Hayal-Hayalin Derinlikleri
A'mâk-ı Hayal, which is considered the first philosophical and surreal novel of Turkish literature, reflects the philosophical and mystical views of Filibeli Ahmet Hilmi. Contains. Raci, the hero of the novel, goes on spiritual journeys with the help of Aynalı Baba, whom he encounters in the cemetery, in order to silence the dragon of doubt within him and reach the absolute truth. In order to reach his goal in these travels, Raci goes to the Summit of Nothingness with Buddha, Mount Olympus where the Greek gods are located, the battlefield of Hormuz and Ahriman, the planet Merih on the back of Simurgh, Mount Qaf and many other places. While Raci wanders in many worlds, dimensions and places in pursuit of the truth, we, the readers, are left to watch this surreal novel by Ahmet Hilmi based on Eastern and Western philosophy, Sufism, mythology and the history of religions - with astonishment, curiosity and pleasure...
