Güneş Devletleri ve İmparatorlukları
Savinien Cyrano de Bergerac (1619-1655) is a libertarian personality who was primarily nourished by the thoughts of Gassendi, Giordano Bruno and Machiavelli, and pursued a bohemian life. Cyrano de Bergerac, who was interested in philosophy, managed to express his critical thoughts in his works, thanks to his agile narrative ability and vast imagination, and with his creative personality, he laid the foundations of the philosophical story tradition, which was followed by Swift in England and Voltaire in France. The works that best express Cyrano's genius are undoubtedly the Other World/Moon States and Empires and the Solar States and Empires. In Solar States and Empires, which is the sequel to Lunar States and Empires, our hero this time sails to the Sun. In this work, Cyrano will not refrain from criticizing the social order of the period in which he lives, with a narrative that can be called philosophical science fiction.
