Father Goriot

The Human Comedy, the famous giant work of the great French novelist Honore de Balzac (1799-1850), consists of eighty-eight volumes. Father Goriot is a part of this great work. This novel has a privileged place. The idea of creating the Human Comedy was born in Balzac's mind with Father Goriot. This inevitably turns this great novel into a focal work. Father Goriot, which is a very interesting novel with its fiction, subject, characters, and the worldview it contains, introduces us to a significant part of the three thousand people in this giant work called The Human Comedy, and the most interesting ones: Rastignac, Madame de Beauseant, Madame de Langeais and more.
