We met Ayhan Geçgin's "atypical" universe with his first book, Kenarda. It was a determined and surprising first book that knew its place, didn't reveal itself. We continue with Gençlik Düşü:
And where did this feeling of disaster that I kept carrying with me come from? Yes, I was afraid. Wherever I looked, I saw something terrible that would happen soon, an irreparable destruction, an irreversible disaster? But wasn't it the remnants of a disaster that I had already seen? Or was this a premonition of my own destruction, was I about to cross a line that really shouldn't be crossed? Was this necessary, was it impossible to avoid? Or was this the ongoing, constantly repeating disaster that I was experiencing now? That which has happened, which keeps happening, but despite happening never happens: an insipid disaster, an insipid disaster.
