Frankenstein
Frankenstein, written by Mary Shelley inspired by a nightmare she had while half awake, emerged as a short horror story as a result of a bet she made with Lord Byron. Then, at the insistence of Percy Shelley, it was turned into a novel.
As a young chemistry student, Victor Frankenstein's interest in the origins of creation begins in his childhood. Almost in a state of ecstasy, the moment he sees the "Monster" he created by bringing together dead bodies, he leaves his laboratory with feelings of disgust and horror. The "Monster", who will follow his creator for a lifetime, is filled with feelings of revenge due to the terrible loneliness he finds himself in.
While the price for this will be paid with successive murders, the distinction between good and evil will almost disappear.
