Our philosophers' interest in language parallels the interest of Western philosophers in language. While Taylan Altuğ put forward most of his language studies by evaluating Western philosophers, Erkut Sezgin also felt the need to comply with this tradition. Although Sezgin stands at an interesting point in terms of relating language to practice and all kinds of action processes, he did not prefer to address language in terms of anthropology, sociology and psychology, as is the case with all our philosophers.
