Etmi-Etmaneki Aşireti Tarihi ve Röportajlar

Mr. ÇABUK has written down the interviews of the opinion leaders of our tribe, whom he interviewed as a result of a four-year study, as his guests in their original form. For this reason, the book has enabled the oral history of our tribe, which has been passed down from generation to generation, to be written down to some extent. It is also a proof of how the cultural characteristics of our tribe, which is distributed in different geographies from Ağrı to Edirne, have been preserved unchanged despite the sociological changes in the modern age.

Most of us have gained information from our tribal relatives living in regions far away from us, found ourselves in this interview, shared the same excitement with them, and are proud of being Atmalı, Etmanaki. No tribe has spread over such a wide geography as the Athmans. They live in almost every region of Iran, Iraq, Syria and Turkey and in some Caucasian regions. In these interviews, we learn about their existence (partially) and their lifestyles, and we see that even though these valuable people are 10 thousand kilometers away from each other, we can immediately understand that although their attitudes of Atmalı and Etmanakis are not different from each other, they are the same lineage. We see simple, brave, full of life and at the same time warrior, noble attitude and hospitality.
