Emile - Or On Education - Hasan Ali Yücel Classics (Hardcover)
In Emile, in which he describes the duties of parents towards children, Rousseau not only discussed child education, but also made a striking criticism of the social, political and religious institutions of the period in which he lived.
He is the most important romantic thinker of the Enlightenment period. His booklet Discourse on the Sciences and Arts, written in 1750, was awarded by the Dijon Academy.
He attracted attention again with The Source of Inequality Among People, which he wrote five years later.
The Social Contract has been considered one of the fundamental works on social life since the day it was published. Rousseau only describes the duties of parents towards their children in Emile.
He not only dealt with child education, but also made a striking criticism of the social, political and religious institutions of the period in which he lived.
