  • Kadri Cemilpaşa and Ekrem Cemilpaşa agreed to write the Kurdish history from beginning to end together and they shared a message among themselves. Ekrem Cemilpaşa undertook the task of writing the old period Kurdish history, and the responsibility of writing the new period Kurdish history was left to Kadri Cemilpaşa. Both of them fulfilled their duties and wrote their books. Kadri Cemilpaşa wrote the book you are reading called 'Doza Kurdistan', which describes the new era Kurdish history, towards the end of his life. The work you have in your hand is the original copy of the book titled Doza Kurdistan, written by Zinnar Silopî (Kadri Cemilpaşa), which was first published by Stewr Printing House in Beirut in 1969. This original copy is the criterion used when transcribing the work.

    These memories…

These lines are full of bitter and sweet memories...

It was written with the trembling fingers of a steel body weakened by long, painful years.

While we express our endless gratitude to our brother Zinnar, who gave away the precious file of his precious life as a last heirloom to his homeland and his loyal children, we shake his shaky hands with all the warmth of our hearts.
