Dönüşüm
One morning, when Gregor Samsa woke up from disturbing dreams, he found himself in his bed transformed into a huge insect. He was lying on his back as hard as an armour, just standing there. When he lifted his head a little and looked, he saw his belly, which resembled a brown dome, was knotted and hardened just like his back. The blanket he was wearing looked like it had either fallen or was about to fall. His numerous legs, pitifully thin compared to his huge body, were struggling desperately before his eyes.
He turned his gaze towards the window. The gloomy weather (he could hear the raindrops hitting the metal window sill) put Gregor in a melancholic mood. "Why don't I just go back to sleep and put an end to all this nonsense," he thought. But this was an extremely illogical thought, because he always slept on his right side, and considering the situation he was in, it did not seem possible for him to be able to turn himself.
No matter how hard he tried to turn to his right, he always found himself in the same supine position. He must have tried a hundred times with his eyes closed (so he wouldn't have to see his legs moving so fast). And when he felt a slight you on his side that he had never felt before, he decided not to try any further.
