The narrator and his wife, who go to stay with a couple of friends during the Easter holiday, learn that a murder was committed nearby that same day. A man kidnapped three brothers, forced two of them to die by jumping from a high tree through threats and psychological torture, and filmed the whole process. A television channel does not delay in broadcasting the video of the murder: While mass demonstrations and the police's feverish search continue outside, the four friends cannot break away from the broadcast stream they are obsessed with with a morbid curiosity, despite the anxiety and horror caused by the murder...

Killer with a Camera is also a media criticism written by the Austrian writer Glavinic with his unique irony.
