Gezi, which led to a revolution in imagination, although not a revolution, opened a rift in the social imagination, which began to be re-established in the period after the September 12 coup in Turkey and has been gradually closing since the 2000s due to its oppressive, inclusive and restrictive nature. Can we say that Gezi, in which an "innocent presence" was visible and which spoke to the opposition of a community spirit based on common unity, was also a defeat? How will we cope with the melancholic mood we find ourselves in these days when a totalitarian structure is knocking on our door? The revolutionary compass we have left after the suppressed uprising, the revolt of discovery, is a compass that prompts us to speak, calls us to action, helps us find direction in the days when the darkness of the present and the uncertainty of the future weighs on us, a compass that still works despite those who try to distort its truth with great determination. The secret that reveals itself again as a new and ancient "common presence" with its ghost friends on its travel handle, its kitchen, library, nursery, infirmary, independent television, radio, workshops, garden, stage and alternative energy sources, a metamorphosed present and future.
