Plato (Plato, approximately 428/7 BC - approximately 348/7 BC): He is the founder of the Akademia (387 BC), which is considered the ancestor of today's university, and is one of the masters who best translated philosophy into writing with the "dialogues" in which he made his teacher Socrates speak.

In the State (Politeia), which is the most well-known of his dialogues along with the Defense of Socrates (Apologia), Plato describes the best state he dreamed of by examining "human conditions" such as "goodness", "equality", "power" and "justice". and this basic structure has been among the reference sources of all state theories or social orders that have been put forward for more than 2000 years, whether they are for or against.

Sabahattin Eyüboglu (1908-1973); He was the vice president of the Translation Office founded by Hasan Ali Yücel and one of the most important cultural figures of the Republic period. The translations he made, either alone or in collaboration with a group, were among the pinnacle names of world culture, from Khayyam to Montaigne, from Plato to Shakespeare.

M. Ali Cimcoz: He is the business and life partner of Adalet Cimcoz, a translator, voice-over artist and founding director of Turkey's first private gallery Maya. The translation of the State, which he made with Sabahattin Eyüboglu, was deemed worthy of the first translation award of the Turkish Language Association in 1959.
