Removing Dersim from the Bracket

Dersim has been the subject of one of the most important confrontations in Turkey's recent history in recent years. The name Dersim began to be written in parentheses after the name Tunceli, which was placed in the province after the 1938 massacre, and is now known as the "core" name.
Many literary narratives, oral history studies, studies, documentaries and musical works have contributed to confronting the truth of Dersim. The 1st International Tunceli (Dersim) Symposium held in 2010 was meaningful in terms of revealing the versatile accumulation of these studies.
