    The answer to this question alone is enough to show that the decision to confiscate is conjectural, in other words, political.
     
    It is clear that if the solution process initiated in Imrali for the democratic and peaceful solution of the Kurdish problem had continued, the Women's State of the Mountain would not have been banned and I would not be a defendant here. My book and I, like many banned books and many of my colleagues who are on trial, are victims of the renewed war and conflict. We are witnesses as well as victims. Nowadays, we are faced with new investigations and lawsuits because of this testimony.
