The Da Vinci Code was a huge success after its first week on sale. It entered the New York Times' bestseller list at number 1. At the same time, it maintained its first place on the 'bestseller' lists of the Wall Street Journal, Publishers Weekly and San Francisco Chronicle for a long time. Colombia Pictures purchased the film rights to the book.

Harvard University Symbol-Science Professor Robert Langdon, while on a business trip in Paris, receives news at midnight that the old director of the Louvre has been found dead. As Langdon and talented French cryptologist Sophie Neveu unravel this strange mystery by following the traces around the body, they discover that the clues lead them to Da Vinci's painting. The great master hid this secret in a place where everyone can see it, inside his famous painting Mona Lisa.
The danger increases when Langdon uncovers this strange connection. The murdered museum director was also a member of the Sion Priory Society, a secret organization that included Sir Isaac Newton, Botticelli, Victor Hugo, Da Vinci and other celebrities.
Langdon suspects that this dangerous secret they are trying to unravel has been hidden in the depths of history for centuries. Thus begins a relentless chase through the streets of Paris and London. Langdon and Neveu find themselves face to face with a mysterious yet highly intelligent man who knows every step they will take. If they cannot solve this complex riddle, this ancient truth of the Priory, which will have great repercussions, will be lost forever.

Bulunmayan kitapların bulunduğu, kaliteli hizmetin adresi, ender bir kitapevi...İsminin kürtce olması da ayrıca sebeb-i tercîhim...
