Pre-Republican education is an issue that should be examined not only in Diyarbekir, but perhaps in all cities.
The education and training system, which was faced with a dead end in Diyarbekir, as in every city of the Ottoman Empire, made a new breakthrough after the Tanzimat, but its real importance came from the Second World War. It was felt during the reign of Abdulhamid.
In this study, only the interior of the city of Diyarbekir was discussed. In addition, an attempt was made to clarify the work with Ottoman archive documents as much as possible.
