Epics Set for Children - 3 Book Set

Every society in the world has created oral and written narratives that discuss their history, beliefs and values over time. These grand narratives contain traces of opposites such as good-bad, right-wrong, courage-fear, love-hate, life-death, and derive their power and permanence from the conflicts between these opposites. Epics that have been read for thousands of years and have deeply influenced modern literature are the most important examples of these. Iliad
In the Iliad, the Trojan War between the Achaeans coming from Greece and the Trojans living near today's Çanakkale. The last two months of 's are described. Odyssey
Odyssey, It is the ten-year-long homecoming story of Odysseus, one of the heroes of the Trojan War. After Troy falls, Odysseus sets out for his hometown Ithaca, but this journey turns into an adventure in itself. He is detained for years by a sea goddess, struggles with mythical creatures, and finally reaches his home. But this time he has to deal with those who take advantage of his absence and want to take over his kingdom. The story of Odysseus, famous for his intelligence, has inspired many works for nearly three thousand years.

Aeneis
The Aeneis is from the homeland of Aeneas, who survived the Trojan War. His journey to Italy and the war he fought with the Latins after arriving there are described. Aeneas encounters legendary creatures such as Harpies, Cyclopes and sea monsters, descends to the land of the dead, but his greatest struggle will be against humans. This work, which includes some mythological elements from the Iliad and Odyssey of the Greek poet Homer, is also the epic of the laying of the foundations of the Roman Empire.
