Rapidly employed farmers were condemned to work under difficult conditions in privatized mines, especially under the pressure of the subcontracting and subcontracting system, for low wages and in harsh conditions.

The system that emerged when the state withdrew from its activities in such a risky business field, that is, transferred the mines to private companies in line with privatization policies, had serious consequences.

This book examines the processes that started with the termination of tobacco support policies and continued with the massacre, while revealing every stage of the painful adventure of the Soma people in all its reality, based on testimonies.
