Pip, who lost his mother and father at a very young age, lives with his older sister and his brother-in-law, the village blacksmith. One day, while visiting his parents' graves, he encounters a prisoner with his feet tied with chains, and he does what this imposing man asks of him, albeit with great fear. Years pass. After the various events he experienced, Pip began to live a completely different life with the help of a guardian whose identity he could not find out. He gets the opportunity to get a good education and settles in London. Despite all this, Pip's future is pregnant with new surprises... Famous English writer Charles Dickens (1812-1870) describes the differences between village and city life in this novel, which has attracted great attention since its first publication in 1861 and has been adapted for television and the big screen many times. It deals with themes such as the abyss, greed for money and discrimination in society.
