The Genie in the Nightingale's Eye Book Description Gillian Perholt, a literary writer and storyteller who gives lectures on fairy tales all over the world, one day falls into Istanbul. Visiting the Grand Bazaar, Perholt buys a dusty, shabby fountain from one of the shops there. However, while he thinks he has added a rare piece to his glass globe collection, he finds himself in the leading role of a magical adventure where fairy tales and reality intertwine.
