The cold war is over and retired secret agent Tim Cranmer is spending his time making wine. In the meantime, his former double agent Larry escapes with the secret service's money and Tim's girlfriend. Tim goes after them to clear himself, settle accounts and get his girlfriend back. In the spooky post-Soviet world, betrayal is rampant among people trying to play a game they cannot control. This chase takes them to Russia and the North Caucasus, where cruelty has become commonplace.
