Our Palestine

Palestinian resistance has a special place for every Turkish citizen. Palestine is from us, it is ours. But we have forgotten Palestine for a long time. We have become accustomed to the images of the intifada that we have watched many times. Until Israel reoccupied Palestinian lands, besieged Yasser Arafat in his headquarters, and massacred dozens of Palestinians.

Mete Çubukçu is one of those who never forgot Palestine. "I've always been on the side of the Palestinians," said a television journalist.
