Bizansiyya
Byzantine Book Description
Poet Lâle Müldür's His novel Bizansiyya, which he had been writing for almost fifteen years, was published by YKY. The novel, which has auto-fictional features, claims to realize a new time in a new place. Born from the union of Byzantium and Constantinople, Byzantium is a semi-utopian but lively, hedonistic city that is experienced in today's Istanbul: "The land of bloody tragedies, intrigues and unbridled passions."
A new world, therefore a new one. Following the traces of life, Müldür takes the reader through the chaos of his own world with a consciousness that moves at lightning speed. Byzantium is a poetic and crazy novel consisting of diaries and notes, which in a way escapes the "anarchic beauty of notebooks".
