The most important person in the "Myth of the Mustache" is an extraordinary mustache who has colored the stagnant life of a town for years. The townspeople see it as a shining symbol of their past and future; The barber who does his grooming every day considers it as his own work; Young girls believe that he flies around at night and frequently visits their beds; The poet who tries to compose his folk song always misses it. As for the person wearing the mustache, he gradually becomes an extension of it, disappears under it, almost loses even what it symbolizes, masculinity, yet he still holds it above everything else. Only one person resists this challenging mustache: the wife of the person carrying the mustache. He also does not have the power to turn him away from his path. Here is the story of "The Legend of Biyik", but as you read, you will see that, like "The Last Five Days of the Prophet", "The Legend of Biyik" is not one of those novels that can be reduced to a story.
