“My dear Taşer… Have you ever heard that I have been managing Yelken magazine for a while? ... We are doing this job as an amateur magazine, with the help of various friends, from Dinamo to Dağlarca, from Aziz Nesin to Tarık Dursun or Ceyhun Atuf... I was going to ask you for articles, especially on theater subjects, but Baki Süha' I felt ashamed when I read his poems published in Cumhuriyet ; When I was only a leg old, I read and memorized his poems in the book Hürriyet in 1943, I should have guessed that Suat Taşer was one of the poets who would never be erased from such a pen. In this regard, my big request now is that you would be kind enough to give Yelken some of your new poems, at least enough to cover two or three pages. Give them so that we can evaluate them thoroughly and show them to friends and enemies. "Also, if you send us your theater writings, you will revive us, my dear friend."
