Al Pacino, who is considered one of the most famous actors in the world, attended the courses written by Konstantin Stanislavski mostly for theater art, when he was at the beginning of his acting career and was considering becoming a movie actor. In his interview with Lawrence Grobel, which was later compiled into a book, Al Pacino says that Stanislavski's courses were extremely boring and depressing for him, but he still admits that the courses constitute one of the milestones of his acting life. Stanislavski's famous trilogy, "An Actor Prepares", "Creating a Character" and "Creating a Role", still continues to serve as a handbook for many small or large, famous or infamous theater artists. What is even more interesting is that the theoretical books that Stanislavski prepared for the art of theater are now also valid for the art of cinema, and movie actors benefit from Stanislavski's works as much as they can. In a sense, "An Actor Prepares", which is considered the first book of this trilogy whose basic features have not been overcome, maintains its quality as a reference book for theater instructors and actors as well as for the reader.
