Benim Sinemalarım

"My Cinemas" is Füruzan's third story book. The story with the same name as the book is the bittersweet story of Beyoglu's cinema world in the 1950s and 1960s. While the author reflects the life of a girl who is crazy about cinema, she also draws a panorama of our society.
Other stories; "Cleaning Arm", "Seyyid", "Outside View of a House", "Day Trip on the Island" and "Before Winter Comes" are examples that bring new tastes to our literature. It received an official invitation from the "Critics' 7 Days and Golden Camera" branches of the Festival and was released as one of the 8 films selected among 158 films. The film received the "Best First Film" special jury award from the international jury at the 1991 Tehran Film Festival and was selected as one of the "10 Best Asian Films" at the 1991 Tokyo International Film Festival.
