Batman Mersin'e Uzak Değil

Starting in Batman, extending to Diyarbakır, Istanbul and Mersin, a Kurdish person who, with his luck and determination, can read in a language other than his mother tongue; In this narrative, there is testimony of a certain age (8-35 years) and a certain time period (1954-1983). The narrative is not a biography, but the observations of a life traveler.

The time period in the narrative generally covers the period between 1960 and 1980, an important period in which three military coups took place in Turkey. This twenty-year period, in which three military coups took place at the beginning, middle and end, has an important place in the history of the Turkish Republic. The 27 May 1960 Coup at the beginning of the process, the 12 March 1971 Coup in the middle, and the 12 September 1980 Coup at the end correspond exactly to the period described in this book.
