Pagan Rome; He had polytheism approved by churches and priests through the state. An attempt was made to destroy the Bible of Barnabas, which describes Tawhid, by burning it...
The Italian manuscript on which the English translation of the Gospel of Barnabas was based was in the possession of Pope Sextus (1589-1590). The Italian manuscript was translated into English by Canon and Miss Reggo and published by the Oxford University Press in 1907. However, all copies of this English translation suddenly and mysteriously disappeared from the market. Only two copies are currently known to exist, one in the British Museum and the other in the Library of Congress in Washington. The book you have in your hand is a full-text translation from the copy in the Washington Library of Congress.
We leave the historical adventure of the kidnapped Bible to the readers.
