We are not children of the seaside.
We grew up on the edge of one of the big rivers, listening to its gurgling sounds. There was a bridge crossing the river. We abandoned ourselves to the flow from the bottom of one of his feet. That's how we learned to swim. We sunbathed on the sand and rocks on the shore.

We cut them off with our bone-handled pocket knives. We arranged the fish we caught (we also had fishing rods) on sticks under the ears, in two rows. Then we wrapped the soft ends of the fork together like a rope to hold it..."
