When Arkady Petrovich, who graduated from university, returns home after many years, his father is astonished by the change in him. His good-natured, docile son is gone, and in his place is an individualistic young man who has adopted contrary ideas. Because Arkady's friend Bazarov, who accompanies him, has deeply influenced him with his nihilistic thoughts and strong personality. However, as Bazarov criticizes the landlord order of the house where he is a guest and criticizes the traditional values of the Russian society of that period, the gap between the two generations gradually widens, paving the way for a deep tragedy.

Fathers and Sons, in which Ivan Sergeyevich Turgenyev (1818-1883) reveals the conflict between generations and their ideals, tradition and individuality, shocked its readers and caused great controversy when it was published in 1862. However, over the years, it has become one of the fundamental books of Russian and world literature.

We present Fathers and Sons to the readers with Melih Cevdet Anday's pure Turkish and Henry James's touching portrait of "Ivan Turgenev" written after the author's death.
"Turgenyev was closely and deeply interested in the state and fate of his country throughout his life. The foresight, poetry and truthfulness in his works are unmatched."
-ISAIAH BERLIN-

"One should never forget that Turgenev was an observer and a poet at the same time. There was always a poetic element in his works; he had tremendous power."
-HENRY JAMES-

Bulunmayan kitapların bulunduğu, kaliteli hizmetin adresi, ender bir kitapevi...İsminin kürtce olması da ayrıca sebeb-i tercîhim...
