Andersen Fairy Tales
Life is sometimes unfair in his tales. This is caused by human selfishness, insensitivity and cruelty. But there is always hope in Andersen's narrative. To take a short walk in the corridors of your imagination and sail into the stories and legends of the past; Embracing nature with all its richness while realizing the limitless ambitions and weaknesses of humans; It makes us feel that constantly telling stories without abandoning humor and irony makes it easier to face difficulties. Like every fairy tale, the best and most enjoyable thing is to read Hans Christian Andersen's texts by rethinking them according to our age and values, questioning what we understand, talking about them and criticizing them.
We are happy to celebrate the 100th birthday of the master poet, writer and translator Behçet Necatigil in April 2016, when we first published this book, accompanied by the warm foreword of Ayse Sarısayin, especially with children and fairy tale lovers.
