Hayk was my friend from the neighboring neighborhood since primary school. He was one of the first times I opened up about my political beliefs in high school. He was one of the best students in the class. His father, Parseh Açikgöz, was a merchant who dealt with imports and exports, which I frequently encountered in the Pier area. What I said about Marx, Engels and Lenin in high school was not very appealing to Hayk. In his hard-working student attitude, he always argued that it was not right to accept what others said and that one should search for oneself and find new things.

We were close friends; He was one of the first to learn about our relationship with Merih. The very year he graduated from high school and came to Istanbul with great passion to become a doctor, his father went bankrupt along with his partner Hokkacızadeler, losing all his wealth. Because he was Armenian, they were not admitting him to the dormitories of the Ministry of Health, which supported Turkish students. Hayk was left in the middle. Returning to Samsun was a devastation he could not bear. He started to resist with the small financial aid provided by the wealthy people of the Armenian community to whom he applied. The environment he found himself in was a blessing, and his feet were on the ground. He now saw life in its more real dimensions. We were closer to each other than before. Merih, Hayk, and I formed a trio in solidarity, which also included financial aspects. We called our solidarity KOLHOZ, inspired by Solohov's novel Awakened Soil, which impressed us a lot...

Our friendship lasted until we lost Hayk.
In this book, you will read in all its nakedness how he found his own path with honesty, faith and self-sacrifice, as he claims, and how he progressed on that path.

Bulunmayan kitapların bulunduğu, kaliteli hizmetin adresi, ender bir kitapevi...İsminin kürtce olması da ayrıca sebeb-i tercîhim...
