Amedspor Kaos ve Direniş

“Amedspor-Chaos and Resistance” is a work written by the author, based on the match analyzes of Amedspor published in different media , with the aim of defining the concept of Kurdish football and shedding light on the historical development process of football in Kurdish lands, despite the limited resources at hand. In the author's analysis of the historical development process, the reader clearly faces the fact that football is never just football; It bears witness to how football has turned into an ideological apparatus of the state in the hands of political actors who, although they seem to be supporting players in the game, are mostly the leading actors . In this respect, Amedspor 's leading role is of course inevitable, as it is the football team of Diyarbekir, which has always been the center of the region as a Kurdish city in the history of the Republic of Turkey, and is the team closest to success compared to other Kurdish teams. The articles compiled in the book are especially important because they boldly reveal what kind of crises Amedspor's management, players and fans were struggling with during the Solution Process and testify to the political, sports and social history of this period.
If we put aside the political and sociological aspects of the book, even a reader who does not like football will be impressed by Ali Fikri Işık 's passion for football and his interest in football will increase. It would not be an exaggeration to say that the fact that he frequently touches on basic football game techniques and strategies in his articles and shares them with his readers without boring them in the form of information makes him different from other football commentators. We hope that this research will encourage more research on Kurdish football and will be a step towards understanding the representative power of football among Kurds and supporting Amedspor and other Kurdish teams.
