As a philosopher, Marxist intellectual and educator, Louis Althusser is a thinker who has renewed political theory and philosophy of history from Machiavelli to Marx in an original style, and has always developed his theory by considering practical politics.

Althusser and We consists of interviews with twenty people who were among today's important thinkers and writers who were his students and shared the same political and cultural climate with him. These interviews, which can be read as attempts to update his legacy, sometimes emphasize Althusser's contributions and sometimes approach him in a critical manner.

This book, which allows us to understand Althusser's working style, his relationships with his environment and his personality, sheds light on the course of the concepts put forward by the thinker and allows us to look at the world of European thought and politics in the 1960s and 1970s with a different perspective.
